The word havn is Danish for harbor, a place that is both a refuge and a point of connection. It’s a reflection of the Scandinavian principles that shape our work as well as a reference to the role the home plays as an anchor in daily life.
Our work strikes a careful balance between the natural and built environment, and our homes celebrate the rhythms of daily life through highly functional spaces. We believe everyone ought to be able to live in a space that feels beautifully crafted—and truly their own.
HAVN was founded by Kristen Goldsmith in 2024, with the mission to make high-quality residential design accessible to more people.
